Belsey Bridge is a Conference Centre in the village of Ditchingham, a little over 10 miles from Norwich. Its rural setting has a relaxed and peaceful environment, is accessible via public transport, and has ample parking with good road links. The venue is located within the boundaries of the Broads National Park, the largest protected wetland in the UK.

Directions by public transport and road are available from the venue's website and will also be in the Autscape information pack.

Accommodation

Belsey Bridge mostly has single bedrooms, though twin, double and family rooms are available. Most are ensuite, and those which aren't have sinks. The venue provides towels. All bedroom doors are lockable.

A third of the bedrooms are ground floor, and two are specifically designed for wheelchair users with adapted doors and roll-in showers.

It is also possible to stay off-site and attend for days only.

Food Service

Autscape registration includes 3 meals per day for those staying on-site. Mealtimes (subject to revision) are: 8:30am, 1pm and 6:00pm. Refreshments are served in the morning and afternoon, and tea and coffee making facilities are located around the venue, which also has a gift shop where confectionery and cold beverages may be purchased.

Venue

Originally a girls' boarding school, Belsey Bridge was converted into a conference centre in 1990, and an additional 40 en-suite rooms were added during refurbishments in 1999.

The conference centre is self contained, has three main meeting rooms, and a range of smaller rooms across the venue.

The venue has a bar and a lounge. The bar will be selling a mix of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks each night. Wireless internet is available for free across the majority of the Conference Centre. There are two computers you can print from for a small charge.

Also located on the grounds are an outdoor swimming pool (unheated), football field, tennis court and table tennis table. Tennis rackets are available to hire for a small refundable deposit, and the surrounding countryside is host to a variety of walks.
