The venue is very close to Northampton University Park Campus. The two are connected via a sports centre and path that goes round the outside of a sports field. The gate between King's Park and the University closes at 10:30pm.
Breakfast: Breakfast at the venue can be added onto bookings at a cost of £8.70 per breakfast. This must be booked before the close of registration. The venue's breakfast consists of a cereal buffet, there may be porridge as well and a choice of hot dishes. It runs from 8:30am to 9:00am (to be confirmed). You can arrive from 8am.
- There is a Travelodge Talavera Way two miles from the venue. This is also known as Travelodge Northampton Round Spinney Hotel.
The Travelodge doesn't have a restaurant, but it does breakfast packs. There is a restaurant that serves breakfasts under five minutes
walk from the Travelodge.
Buses number 7 and 58 both stop 15 minutes walk from this hotel and close to the venue (under five minutes walk). - The Sunley Conference centre is on the other side of Northampton
University Park Campus, and costs around £60 per night. This is just a mile from the venue by road and about a third of
a mile by foot through the University campus coming out by the sports hall beside the venue (no more than ten minutes walk door to door). This is the accommodation the venue
have recommended to us. The gate between the sport's centre and the University's grounds closes at 10:30pm each night.
When we visited the Sunley Centre it only had a cold breakfast (cheese, cold meat, cereals). If you want a hot breakfast or more substantial cereal you can book the venue's breakfast instead (see the details at the top of this page).

- The Langham Hotel is on the way between Northampton City Centre and Northampton University Park Campus. There is a bus route to the campus. Prices around £50 per night.
- There is an easy walk of about seven minutes from the University Bus area to the venue. Please email registrar@autscape.org for details.
- The Poplars is a hotel in the village of Moulton. The venue is in Moulton Business Park. Moulton village runs between the venue and the countryside. The hotel is at the far end of the village, 2.1 - 2.3 miles (depending on route) from the venue.
- Also in Moulton village is an Airbnb property called The Barn. This is a self contained one bedroom property consisting of bedroom, living area, kitchen and bathroom. They recently had a cancellation so are now available (checked on 9 April). They charge fifty pounds a night.
- Overstone Park Hotel is 3.6 miles east of the venue.
- If you plan to travel in and out by bus to the venue, there are a few hotels close to Northampton Bus Station which had availability between 8 and 11 August when we checked. Buses 7, 10, 16 and 21. (Summer timetable not yet available to double check this, please ask before boarding). Bus number seven stops three minutes walk from the venue. The other routes leave you with a 15 minute walk. Route 7 runs from the venue to the centre of town until shortly past 11pm each evening. Some of the later times require more walking at the start of the route. We will try to get more inforamtion about route 7 after the summer timetable is printed.
- There are other places to stay in the town centre which is three to four miles from the venue. There are buses from the town centre which leave you about three minutes walk from the venue. Google estimates the journey by bus from the centre of Northampton to the venue to be roughly 45 minutes. There are also buses to the Northampton University Park Campus. Sites like google maps, booking.com and AirBNB can help you find other accommodation.
