Autscape Ireland 2020 registration is now open!

Personal information entered on the registration form will be kept confidential according to the Autscape confidentiality policy.

Registration starts on January 27th. You will receive your fee information by email with payment details. 50% will be required by February 25th, or if registering later, within 5 working days of registration, with the balance due by March 13th. Any remaining places will be released on March 14th. Registration will close at the end of March 23rd.

Fees information

Residential fees include accommodation for 3 nights, breakfast, lunch & dinner, coffee breaks and attendance at all conference activities.

Non-residential fees include lunch & dinner, coffee breaks and attendance at all conference activities.

Fees overview

Higher or professional fee

**If you can afford to pay the higher fee, the difference goes directly into Autscape’s Bursary Fund to help those who could not afford to attend without assistance.

Lower/Hardship fee

*Autscape's definition of low income differs from most. Because a majority of our participants are on disability benefits, the standard rate is set with that in mind. Low income are those who have even less than that, e.g. people with benefits upsets, those in low paid or part time work, and people with extraordinary expenses.

Bursaries

If you have extra expenses, such as the need to bring a carer, you may apply for a Bursary. Autscape grants bursaries to people who have difficulty covering the cost of attending. A person who receives a bursary will pay a reduced fee. Bursaries for Autscape Ireland 2020 are available for all room types.

Travel expenses may be considered as a reason for needing a fee bursary. They will not be covered as a separate award.

How and when to apply for a bursary

Please fill in the bursary application form and send it to us. Applications must be submitted by March 13th. If you have problems at any point, ask the bursary committee for help: bursary@autscape.org.

Funds are limited, so to help as many people as possible to benefit from the bursary scheme, please only apply for the amount you need to enable you to go to Autscape.

What to expect when applying for a bursary

You will have to justify why you need a bursary. However, we will not expect you to list all your income and outgoings. We have made this as simple as possible on the application form.

The bursary committee will make decisions and notify applicants as soon as possible. If necessary, the registrar can keep your place reserved past the payment deadlines, so you will have time to pay after you have received a decision.

A bursary will not cover the full amount of your fee. In most cases, bursaries will be set amounts of €50 or €100. Please note these amounts are not restricted and the committee may vary the amount given.

To support as many people as possible to attend Autscape, a bursary will usually not be awarded to anyone who has received one in the last two years.

Cancellations

You can cancel your registration by sending an email to the registrar.

Refund for cancellation by Mar 13: the full amount paid minus €50.

Refund for cancellation by Mar 30: 50 % of the full amount paid.

For later cancellations, no refunds are paid.
