Room types
En-suite rooms:
The en-suite fee is for a place in an en-suite room. These rooms have a lavatory, shower and sink. They are only available as single, double (one bed, two people) or family size (three plus people). Although it is possible to put down a temporary bed in some of the larger singles, this option would be best suited to a child or family member.
Standard
The standard fee is for a place in a standard room. Standard rooms contain a wash basin. Each group of bedrooms has the use of a suite of toilets / bathrooms. You choose whether you want a single or shared room.
Flexible fee
This is a special low fee for those who can be completely flexible regarding their bedroom placement. With this fee you have no choice in the type of room, location in the venue or any other aspect of your accommodation. Follow this link for more information about this option.

Discounts:

Child sharing an en-suite room:
There is no en-suite supplement payable for a child sharing an en-suite room. The occupants must be on the same booking.
Low income discount:
We can apply a 10% discount to your registration fee if you're on low income. (Not available to carers and professionals.) Many of those who attend Autscape are on benefits and some people who are working for low pay have less money than some who are on benefits, so we don't have a clear cut way of deciding what is low income and we don't require proof. We encourage you to pay the full rate if you can afford it. If you have very little money and the small discount would make a substantial difference to your life, then you may pay the low income rate. The table of low income fee rates is viewable by clicking this link.

Extra Discounts:

To make best use of the venue's variety of room sizes we have introduced some extra discounts for this year.

Double (one bed) en-suite rooms
When two adults book a double room (one shared bed) one of the en-suite supplements is waived. Both people must be on the same booking.
Large standard rooms three or more people
10% discount for bookings which fully occupy a large standard family room (3 to 6 people). For more information follow this link.

Other notes

Multiple person bookings
If you are unsure what room configuration(s) to choose, select the 'family room option' and we will contact you with your choices.
Once you have decided we will adjust your booking fee, if applicable, before you pay.
For more information email registrar@autscape.org
Sharing
If you want to share a certain room type but don't have a room mate in mind then book standard or en-suite as preferred and we will match you with a room-mate.
Members:
Membership of Autscape, which gives you voting rights at the AGM, costs £5.00 and provides a £5.00 discount on bookings.
Carers/PAs:
Carers and PAs attend Autscape only to facilitate the attendance of someone else who otherwise would be unable to come. Carers are not eligible for a low income discount because their fee is already as low as possible.
This year our extra discounts do apply to carers, bringing the fee to below cost because this enables us to make best use of the venue layout.
Babies:
There is no charge for babes in arms (i.e. who don't use childcare). If the venue is quite full we will ask that the baby uses a venue provided cot instead of a bed-space.
Repeat attendees
Please do not assume that we remember your needs from year to year. If you have a special requirement you must tell us about it on the booking.
